Our Campaigns
SOMOS/WE ARE
An initiative of the National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities (NALACC), SOMOS/WE ARE inspires immigrants to take action in reclaiming their humanity and in supporting legislation that truly reflects what immigrants are worth and deserve.
Just Communities/Comunidades Justas
The Just Communities/Comunidades Justas campaign launched in response to the Secure Communities Program (S-Comm) seeks to counteract the U.S. Government’s current “Enforcement Only” response to immigration by educating and mobilizing people against efforts to criminalize undocumented immigrants.
MA Trust Act Campaign
The TRUST Act is a Massachusetts state bill that sets a clear, minimum standard for local governments not to submit to burdensome requests from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to detain people for deportation who have otherwise been ordered released by the courts. Centro Presente and the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) have convened a diverse coalition of immigrant advocates, faith organizations and allies in the solidarity movement to mobilize support for this proactive campaign.
