Centro Presente is proud to have a community Board of Directors that emerges democratically from our membership.  Our current Board has eleven members and was elected during our November, 2007 member assembly.  At this assembly, members adopted our membership profile, which defines roles and responsibilities for different levels of participation.  As per this profile, only active members are eligible to serve on our Board. 

Centro Presente’s Board is responsible for convening and planning member assemblies, being accountable to the membership, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of decisions made by membership, ensuring the ethical use of our financial and human resources; co-chairing member work groups, leading grass-roots fundraising efforts, ensuring the qualitative and quantitative growth of our membership and being our key spokespeople, particularly in the community.
