Radio Show: Al Día con Centro Presente
Using alternative media to give voice to our people. We believe that the appropriate use of the media can create political and social change. Media have a significant impact on decision making and the improvement of society and access to information can transform political, economic, and social systems. ‘Al Día Con Centro Presente’ is the name of our Community Radio Show. We use the program as a tool to develop the leadership of our members, and to inform and educate the Latino immigrant community about important topics around immigrant, worker’s rights and civic participation. The program is conducted in Spanish every Thursday at 2:00 PM on 1600 AM radio.
