SOMOS/WE ARE

An initiative of the National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities (NALACC), SOMOS/WE ARE inspires immigrants to take action in reclaiming their humanity and in supporting legislation that truly reflects what immigrants are worth and deserve.

Activities:

• Local political advocacy
• Advocacy with local and national media outlets to not use the word ‘illegal’ in describing undocumented immigrants
• Public awareness events about the positive contributions of immigrants to society
