We have volunteer and internship opportunities in the following areas:

Adult Education

Teach or assist ESOL, Spanish literacy, Computer skills classes, or tutor adults learning English one-on-one (contact Corry Banton at 617-629-4731 x221 or cbanton@cpresente.org).

Youth Organizing

Assist with our youth organizing program for Latino youth in Somerville as an academic skills tutor or mentor (contact Laura Gonzalez at 617-629-4731 x228 or lgonzalez@cpresente.org).

Legal Department

Assist our legal department staff in the provision of legal services. A great opportunity to learn about immigration law and the current challenges the Latino immigrant community is facing (contact Carlos Galvez at 617-629-4731 x222 or Cgalvez@cpresente.org).

Community Organizing & Political Advocacy

Help organize the Latino immigrant community to work for immigration legislation and policy that is more just and humane (contact Patricia Montes at 617-629-4731 x211 or Pmontes@cpresente.org).

• Personal commitment to immigrant rights, the self-determination of the community and other social justice issues.
